Rejoice the Birth of Jesus Christ

December 25, 2010. Rejoicing the birth of Jesus Christ.

This day is not only for giving and receiving gifts.Today we are united again for one reason only, to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

As I woke up this morning, I feel that Jesus is within me. I'm happy that Jesus is born as well as the whole Humanity. Full of happiness, peace, hope, and love for this wonderful day. No chaos, no enemies, no war, no fighting, just sharing of love. I saw a lot of people walking very happy and some people that I knew weren't. Some unfortunate people go to house to house to ask for some gifts. I like to give them something, but it was sad on my part that I don't have anything to offer them because even us is less fortunate.

Last night on celebrating the "Noche Buena" it was successful but not happy. Because we're not complete. But even so, I'm still thankful for the blessing that we received and will be receiving. This is the first time that I feel so very happy on my 21 years of living here on earth. It is so nice when you are doing good things for your self, to other people and of course for God.

I told to myself that this will be the day for me start the changes in my life. Even if the year 2010 is not yet over, I will consider this as my New Year's Resolution. I must start my 2011 right together with God, my Family, my friends, and the people on the earth.

We must thank the Lord for this day for the blessings and love He shares and gives for the Humanity. And may we pray for those less fortunate people for their happiness and good health. May they feel the Love of God.

All this is the work of the kindness of our God; He, the Dayspring, shall visit us in His mercy to shine on those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

Greatest Gift

What do you want for this Christmas?

Some would care for a new car, or even a new cellphone?

If you would ask me what I want for Christmas, that would be for my family to be happy. It's been years from now since the last time our family was complete during Christmas. My mom is in Italy working for our own good. I'm a simple person and i'm not really a material person when it comes to receiving gifts.

Let's say that I have all the money, clothes and gadgets in the world but will it make me happy when I know that my family and I are not together to celebrate the Christmas? No. My family has been there since my childhood although sometimes there's been a misunderstanding and problems we face, but material things can never ever replace my happiness when I'm with my family.

I'm still looking forward for my wish this Christmas and that is for my family to be happy. For now I'm satisfied to know that my Mom is happy even though she can't come home. I know there's still lot of years to come for us to reunite and be able to celebrate the Happy Holidays.

Christmas Day is telling and reminding us that gifts are not really important, what more important is giving love and joy to every person especially to your family. Value every moment with your family for it may be the last you'll ever see them again.

I love my Mom, Dad, and my Brother.

I don't care how poor a man is; if he has family, he's rich.
